Bearing Fruit Vineyard is an 8.5 acre farm, with 1908 vines planted on 3 acres of that land. The vineyard produces an abundance of quality Malbec,
Sangiovese and Petite Sirah wine grapes.
Our goal for the vines will always be an emphasis on quality, minimal intervention to allow the grapes to express the "terroir",
and a hands-on approach to farming.
The vision for Bearing Fruit Vineyard is for it to operate as a charitable, retirement endeavor. We will nurture the grapes to each harvest and arrange for their sale to "the best" local wineries. At that point, 100% of the funds each year will be directed to the Bearing Fruit Foundation and various charitable endeavors. This project supplements Frank & Karen Allen's other annual /primary contributions to the Bearing Fruit Foundation.
